Event Description

Niger State Commissioner Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, Dr. Hadiza Asabe Mohammed said the ministry is leaving no stone unturned in its efforts to revamp the education system, In line with the Farmer Governor's vision to create a NEW Niger.

The Commissioner stated this yesterday while declaring open a one-day training program for all desk officers of the Ministry empowered for results and success (DOERS) at the Niger State Teachers Professional Development Institute, minna.

The Commissioner represented by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Jonathan Wasa K, noted that the training is aimed at equipping the desk officers with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive educational reforms effectively.

The event witnessed the participation of desk officers from various Agencies and departments within the ministry.

In her remarks, the Director General Schools and Educational Reforms, Hajiya Maimuna Mohammed, highlighted the importance of the training in achieving the Governor's vision for a transformed education system in Niger State.

She emphasized the significance of the program in aligning the efforts of the desk officers with the goals of the ministry and the Governor's vision for a NEWNiger.

The training program featured Dr. Osita Aniemeka as the lead facilitator and consultant who is a renowned expert in the field of education, delivered insightful presentations on the roles of DOERS in educational reforms.

His expertise and experience added immense value to the training program, providing the desk officers with practical insights and strategies for success.

The training program included interactive sessions, allowing the desk officers to actively engage and share their experiences.

The participants left the program feeling empowered and equipped to contribute to the revamping of the education system in Niger State.
